Ortech Distributors Inc. was launched in 2001 by current President, Jagjiwan Singh. Located in the Metro Vancouver area, Singh positioned Ortech an importer of manufactured products from China. Singh’s focus was to create a network of contacts across Western Canada who would carry Ortech’s line of lighting and electrical products.
Since its inception, an aggressive purchasing force based in Hong Kong as well as unwavering sales reps has expanded Ortech from a supplier of a small line of lighting fixtures to supplier with unlimited potential. Ortech now features a large variety of lighting, electrical and bath products and is constantly researching and adding new products to its line up.
Ortech specializes in several collections of decorative lighting fixtures; a complete selection of recessed fixtures; a whole line of electrical devices and boxes; and select plumbing fixtures including GNN Ventilating Fans. These products are all certified by the necessary American and Canadian standards and are primarily distributed through showrooms, electrical wholesalers and HVAC distributors.
